30 days to change your mind
You have 30 days from delivery to send back an item that does not suit. This is our own policy, offered on every market we ship to, and it is longer than the law requires of us anywhere. It gives your cat time to adopt — or ignore — its new post.
What condition it has to come back in
The item has to come back complete and in resalable condition. A hammock that was tried, fitted and then taken down again is perfectly acceptable: that is exactly the intended use. Only damaged or incomplete items cannot be taken back.
Free returns
Write to us at hello@thecathammock.com with your order number. We send you a return label: sending it back costs you nothing.
Refund
The refund goes back to the payment method you used, within 14 days of the return reaching us. Depending on your bank, the entry can take a few more days to show on your statement.
Faulty item
An item that arrives broken or incomplete is replaced or refunded straight away, with no need to send it back first. A photo is enough.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page reduces the rights the law gives you where you live. Those rights apply alongside our policy, not instead of it.
- United Kingdom. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You also have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- Australia. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
- New Zealand. The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies to goods supplied to consumers.
- United States and Canada. Statutory warranty rights for consumer goods are set at state and provincial level and vary accordingly. Whatever they are where you live, they apply in full alongside this policy.
